Today the Fox Class went to Texas Roadhouse for a tour and a special lunch.  Summer Campers had the chance to make their own home made bread rolls which were then baked and later enjoyed with a delicious cinnamon butter. After making rolls, campers were given a tour of the kitchen. Everyone was excited to take a brief walk into the huge walk-in freezer where we learned that the meat cutter spends anywhere from 8-12 hours a day cutting meat in. He wears a coat and a hat to keep warm! After the tour of the kitchen , everyone washed up, helped themselves to the soda machine and took a seat at one of the booths. Lunch was a scrumptious pulled pork sandwich with home made french fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal and a couple of the older kids asked the manager to turn on the TV so they could catch the end of the USA vs Germany soccer match of the World Cup. It was a great day for the Fox class.
